SWEMARC organises workshop on State of the art and future development of low trophic level species culture in high energy environments

The objective of this workshop is to organize a 3-day international workshop with invited experts in submerged culture systems and offshore culture of extractive species. The workshop may be coordinated with activities arranged by the overarching platform "Offshore west" to attract participants from the offshore industry.

The workshop will be hosted by IVL, The Swedish Environmental Research Institute (www.ivl.se, Dr. Åsa Strand), SWEMARC at the University of Gothenburg (www.swemarc.gu.se, SWEMARC Director and Professor Kristina Snuttan Sundell), UNE NORTH: The Institute for North Atlantic Studies (www.une.edu/UNE-North, Executive Director and Professor Dr. Barry Costa Pierce), in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Bela H. Buck (AWI) and Kevin Heasman (Cawthron), and the H2020 consortium AquaVitae.

Dates: 16-19 October.
